ജനങ്ങളെ കബിളിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിൽ യുഡിഎഫ് സർക്കാർ കൂട്ടുനിന്നു. അന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്ന ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഓഫിസും സോളർ തട്ടിപ്പുക്കേസിൽ ഉത്തരവാദികളാണ്. അന്നത്തെ ആഭ്യന്തര – വിജിലൻസ് വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി തിരുവഞ്ചൂർ രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ പൊലീസിൽ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തി ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്താൻ ശ്രമം നടത്തിയെന്നും റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ പരാമർശമുണ്ടെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയൻ വാർത്താ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
സോളർ കേസ് അന്വേഷിച്ച ജസ്റ്റിസ് ശിവരാജൻ കമ്മിഷൻ റിപ്പോർട്ടിനെക്കുറിച്ച് മാധ്യമങ്ങളോടു വിശദീകരിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് കമ്മിഷന്റെ കണ്ടെത്തലുകൾ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. കുറ്റകരമായ ഗൂഢാലോചന, പ്രതികളെ സഹായിക്കൽ എന്നിവ പ്രകടമാണ്. ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിക്കെതിരെ വിജിലൻസ് അന്വേഷണവും തിരുവഞ്ചൂരിനെതിരെ ക്രിമിനൽ കേസ് എടുക്കാനും ശുപാർശയുണ്ടെന്നും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിക്കെതിരായ വിജിലൻസ് കേസ് പ്രത്യേക സംഘം അന്വേഷിക്കും. ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി നേരിട്ടും മറ്റുള്ളവർ മുഖേനെയും സരിതയിൽനിന്നു കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഉപഭോക്താക്കളെ വഞ്ചിക്കാൻ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയും അദ്ദേഹം മുഖേന പഴ്സനൽ സ്റ്റാഫും ടീം സോളറിനെയും സരിതാ എസ് നായരെയും സഹായിച്ചു.
ഐജി: പത്മകുമാർ, ഡിവൈഎസ്പി: ഹരികൃഷ്ണൻ എന്നിവർക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുക്കും. പൊലീസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ മുൻ ഭാരവാഹി ജി.ആർ. അജിത്തിനെതിരെയും കേസെടുക്കും. അജിത്തിനെതിരെ വകുപ്പുതല നടപടിക്കും തീരുമാനമുണ്ട്. കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാക്കളായ തമ്പാനൂർ രവിയും ബെന്നി ബെഹനാനും ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. ഇവർക്കുമെതിരെയും കേസെടുക്കും. ആര്യാടൻ മുഹമ്മദിനെതിരെയും വിജിലൻസ് കേസെടുക്കും. സരിതയുടെ കത്തിൽ പേരു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന നേതാക്കൾക്കെതിരെ മാനഭംഗത്തിനും കേസെടുക്കും.
കമ്മിഷൻ റിപ്പോർട്ടിന്മേൽ ഈ മാസം മൂന്നിന് അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് ജനറലിനോടും ഡയറക്ടർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് പ്രോസിക്യൂഷനോടും സർക്കാർ നിയമോപദേശം തേടിയിരുന്നു. ഈ നിയമോപദേശം ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. കമ്മിഷൻ റിപ്പോർട്ട് പരിശോധിച്ച് ഇരുവരും പ്രത്യേകം നിയമോപദേശം നൽകുകയായിരുന്നു. റിപ്പോർട്ടിനകത്തുള്ള പരാമർശങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയുമുള്ള നിയമോപദേശമാണ് നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ആറുമാസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഇവ നിയമസഭയിൽ സമർപ്പിക്കും.
The Kerala government has ordered a Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau probe against Congress leader and former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan disclosed the findings of the judicial commission and claimed that it had found Oommen Chandy and his office’s involvement in the multi-crore solar panel scam.
CM Vijayan said that the Justice (retd) Sivarajan Commission constituted to probe the scam had found that Chandy and his former staff members, namely, Tenny Joppen, Jikkumon Jacob, gunman Salim Raj and Delhi based friend Kuruvilla had helped the prime accused in the case. The accused, Saritha S Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan and their company Team Solar are accused of cheating clients to the tune of crores in cohorts with the then Kerala Chief Minster Chandy.
CM Vijayan said that a criminal case would be registered against former Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan after the panel found him guilty of letting Chandy escape from the case. Vijayan who made excerpts of the panel public alleged that the Special investigation team that probed the case had also tried to help Chandy.
The Kerala government has now formed a new SIT that will probe allegations against Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and other Congress leaders like Benny Behanan and Thamapanoor Ravi, allegations of sexual abuse raised by Saritha Nair in connection with the case. The move comes as a massive setback to Oommen Chandy.
